no light, no tea, no fridge, no phone
no power banks, the battery's gone
no games, no laundry, heat, no fries
no cookers, mixers, filters, dryers
no cutters, drillers, mics or amps
coffee machines, lawn mowers, lamps
no cookers, razors, internet
no microwaves, no tv set!
just sit and think what life would be,
if we had no electricity
and ponder on this thankful mood,
that thinkers call their 'gratitude'
you can direct it if you please
at those who make it work with ease
your comfort is their lifetime mission
