Deeply touched by the courage and selflessness of health service staff around the world I decided to paint this tribute to them. Their heroic work should be remembered by generations to come! 

This painting depicts a nurse taking a selfie while on a shift in ICU (intensive care unit) during the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Her face is covered with painful marks from wearing a face mask.
